Anything that we put before God is an idol. We serve them as a god. Is it money, things, tv, people or ourselves? Our hearts become hard and we do not serve Him only.

No matter what may come our way, God is for His children. Bad things happen and people may mistreat us. These things can be difficult and we may see no way out. God is for us. This life is temporary and we need to keep our focus on Jesus. He is our hope.

We pray "in the name of Jesus" expecting results. Jesus spent time with the Father and only did what the Father was doing. Jesus died to give us access to the Father. If we want to see the Kingdom released, we must spend time talking with the Father asking His will and then doing His will.

Ever wonder why we say things that are not pleasing to God? We need to check our hearts? What is truly in our hearts will eventually come out our mouths. We need to ask God to show us our hearts. We need to repent and ask God to help us cleanse our hearts.

Release the Kingdom on Earth

Our lives revolve around making and spending money. When we spend more time wanting money than wanting God, our hearts are not right. Our desires are wrong.

We must deny ourselves and embrace the Cross of Jesus. We must love God more than anyone or anything. Our sinful lives reveal we do not fear God.

We must walk in covenant or we will never possess the land. We won't see our world changed and people get saved. We will not walk in relationship with God.

Imagine being Abraham when God said his descendants would be as numerous as the stars. He believed even though he could see no possible way as he and Sarah were old. His faith overcame the impossible.

We are to have unwavering faith in God. Doubt, worry and grumbling are all signs of faithlessness. We cannot please God without faith.
